Seriously, WTF. Is there some website out there that is displaying my messenger information? Do I have a sign on my back that people in other countries can see that says "I'm desperate, I want you to propose marriage to me before I even respond"?

I can barely log into any of my messenger programs without being greeted by a flood of people adding me, sending me messages and asking me to marry them. And when I turn them down(because crime of crimes, I'm TAKEN), I get another set of floods from other people who happened to be their friends, or them on other ID's being rude and cussing at me. Hell, I had one call me racist because he was from India and I politely turned him down. I have nothing against people from India(or any other country), I have a problem with people from India asking to marry me when I don't even know them.

Honestly, I really want to know why I am getting all of this, when friends of mine have reported not nearly the amount of this crap. They, at most, get like one unwanted message a month. I get around twelve of them, a day. Yes 12, a day...

I'm not a mean or violent person. I rarely take things to moderators or owners of a program because I believe all things can be resolved without the intervention of a higher up(Goddess knows they have enough on their plate as it is). But for the love of all that is sane, someone tell me how to stop all these unwanted annoying messages!

Changing accounts doesn't work, going invisible doesn't work, ignoring them doesn't work, moving to another program doesn't work. The only option I have left is to stop using messenger programs all together.
